Wonderful stay at La Villa in Port En Bessin

Our family, four adults and two children (aged 7 and 10) stayed at La Villa in Port En Bessin from 5 to 12 August 2017. The house is exceptionally spacious, particularly in the sitting room and dining area and can sleep up to 10 people. The furnishings were of good quality as was all the kitchen equipment and crockery. The garden was beautiful with excellent outdoor furniture, garden swing, table tennis equipment and a games room in a separate building.
The house is well situated, about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Port En Bessin with its beach and shops. Bayeux and its many attractions is only a 15 minute drive away and we were able to see all the D-Day sights within a half hour drive.
The owners, Valerie and François were most helpful to us dealing with a small problem immediately.
We would thoroughly recommend this Gite to anyone looking for upmarket accommodation in this area of Normandy.
